fasion ave nyFashion Avenue, or more formally known as 7th Avenue, is the span of pure shopping heaven located in between West 26th Street and 42nd Street in Manhattan. Some people know this area as "Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd", the avenue sitting just north of Central Park. Believe it or not, this area of the city was originally part of the commissioner's 1811 plan, taking just a tad bit longer to actually come to fruition.

While here you will such things along the avenue as the Garment District, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, and even the Fashion Institute of Technology. Shop at such iconic and high fashion must-stops as Williams Sonoma, H&M, New York Look, OMG Jeans, Harman, the Shoe Parlor, and so many more. You will find almost everything you could possibly need, both fashion and recreational shopping wise, while strolling along this street, and if you work up an appetite with all that shopping don’t worry, there are plenty of amazing eateries around.
