Anaheim Colony Historic District - There are a total of 5 different, completely distinct historic districts throughout Anaheim, the very first one dedicated in the city going by the name of the Anaheim Colony Historic District. Not only is the very first historic district dedicated, it is also hands down the largest in Anaheim. Taking up 1.8 square miles, this 1997 adopted district has set boundaries matching the original German Colony Founded here in 1857. Your group should aim to set aside an hour or two here, exploring the first store, first school, first homes, early saloons, fashion stables, citrus packing plants, Pearson Park, and Kroeger-Melrose District. If you some extra time to kill plan a picnic here or head over to the Citrus Belt Land area, where you can learn about the process of cleaning, marking, grading, packing, recording, and shipping the local oranges across the nation, an important part of local history and industry!

Anaheim GardenWalk - Great shopping, excellent dining, and fantastic entertainment options await you at the Anaheim GardenWalk, one of the most popular places in the city to shop, eat, and have some fun! If you are here for retail therapy, you will have a great selection of trendy and specialty stores to choose from, offering such things as luggage, art, motorcycles, makeup, sunglasses, and jewelry. More in the mood for a bite to eat? Head to the Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, PF Chang's, or Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Newer spots are underway currently as well, such as the House of Blues Anaheim, Meat Market, and Sweet and Swedish stores. Entertainment wise you should be on the lookout for any possible special events taking place, such as various festivals, walks, or art show, or just head to the bowling lounge, cabaret, gym, or escape rooms. There is even a kid-friendly adventure arena by the name of Billy Beez here to ensure everyone in your group is fully entertained.

Disney California Adventure - Of course, your student group travel experience to Anaheim wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the world-famous Cali attraction, Disney California Adventure. Oftentimes just referred to as California Adventure or DCA, this highly popular theme park takes up a whopping 72 acres of prime Anaheim land, first opened here in 2001. Innovative attractions, excellent cuisine, and unforgettable live entertainment will greet you at all ends of this massive park, the entire area is broken into a total of 7 different ‘lands’. Explore each exciting land during your visit, each doing its own part in ‘bringing to life Disney and Pixar stories and characters through amazing attractions, entertainment, and dining!’. Some of our favorites for student groups at Disney California Adventure include California Screamin’, Fliks Flyer, Soarin’ All Over the World, Mickey's Fun Wheel, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. You are certainly going to work up an appetite during your visit, which is great because this place has some seriously excellent eateries to choose from, with such a variety of types of food, cultures of food, and budget options you are sure to find something everyone in your group likes. From Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta to Bayside Brews, Churros to Chorizo, DCA has all ages and palates covered!
