Day 2 You'll See:

Get ready for a truly adventurous weekend as you and your group take part in two full days of Valley Forge fun. Soar above the treetops of a local zoo, learn to skydive indoors, and even get the chance to rock-climb, all while in the gorgeous and historic backdrop of this essential Pennsylvania town.

Day
1

Elmwood Park Zoo - The Elmwood Park Zoo is a small zoo located in Norristown, Pennsylvania, that plays host to over 300 different animals. This zoo began as a mere 16-acre land donation in 1924 by a local private landowner, along with a handful of white-tailed deer. Soon the land grew into an 80-acre zoo with over 100 different species of animals, all owned and operated by the Norristown Zoological Society. Here at Elmwood Park Zoo you and your group can participate in animal feedings, daily shows and pony rides, and general education about the 300 animals within, mostly all indigenous to the Americas. Go visit Noah the Eagle or Stella the Great Horned Owl, or perhaps even the Animal of the Month as you explore the various worlds of jaguars, howler monkeys, and big horned sheep. Before you go you can grab a delicious bite to eat at the Treetop Cafe or any of the various concessions stands throughout, or head over to the Barn Store and Nature Shop for some souvenir shopping!

Treetop Adventures - Your next stop is deep within Elmwood Park Zoo, or should I say on top of Elmwood Park Zoo, an adventure amid the treetops! Treetop Adventures provides guests of the zoo with over 70 total challenging games and zip lines that rise over 50 feet above the ground, within the treetops of the actual zoo. This is the state’s only location in which you can zip line over animal exhibits, making it a truly unique Pennsylvania stop and a hidden gem in our book! Embracing the motto of ‘adventure for every level’, Treetop Adventures offers five completely different courses and tracks. Your group is going to have tons of fun, and remember that the staff here at Treetop Adventures is fully trained in safety and education, ensuring you have the most safe and most informed time you can while soaring above the fun Elmwood Park Zoo.

iFly King of Prussia - Welcome to iFly King of Prussia, the soon-to-open attraction in King of Prussia that provides guests with the sensation of skydiving, without ever actually jumping off a plane. Looking to open around March 2016, this 14-foot recirculating wind tunnel located specifically in upper Merion Township will allow you and your group to discover "amazing, safe, and worldwide activity of indoor skydiving." This attraction provides you and your group with true free-fall conditions, a skydiving simulation that will take you at realistic top speeds of between 130 to 175 miles per hour. Before you start, however, you will get a detailed training session from certified instructors, learn how to put on all the flight gear, and then learn all about the flight chamber itself. This is not only an extremely fun and exciting adventure for your group, but you will also learn more than you think about physics, velocity, and gravity in general!

Day
2

Spring Mountain Adventures - Start your morning off right with an exciting visit to Spring Mountain Adventures, the year-round outdoor activity center located along Spring Mountain Road in Schwenksville. At this extremely fun and active family center your group will have the choice of biking, zip-lining, or participating in the many options of snowsports onsite! Here on this abundance of powdery white slopes and surrounding stunning wooded area you will find a total of eight trails, two tubing runs, six lifts, and two different terrain parks. Even if it isn’t snowing and the forecast doesn’t show any during your visit, don’t worry! Spring Mountain Adventures even has their own state-of-the-art snow guns to make it snow anytime! If snowsports aren’t your thing sign up for rock-climbing, geocaching, downhill biking, or maybe even zipline canopy tours. Once you work up an appetite your group can head over to the Woodside Lodge for a formal lunch, or perhaps the nearby Tiki Bar, Alpine Restaurant, or delicious Spring Mountain Cafe.

Arnold’s Family Fun Center - At Arnold’s Family Fun Center your group will get the chance to really unwind with such fun entertainment options as mini golf, arcade games, laser tag, and go karts. This large activity center is fun for all ages and hosts many various birthday parties, meetings, seminars, corporate team building activities, and onsite fundraisers or charities. Spend some time with the thrill of high speeds and tight turns with the fully electric and fume free karts or maybe head over to the high tech arcade room. There are several different group packages available here, such as the All Day Play, Pro Circuit, Over Drive, and Jump Start, each providing several options of activity for a reasonable price. During the nights the onsite Water Tower puts on live music shows as well! Before you go be sure to grab a bite to eat at the Pizza and Salad Bar Buffet or Bistro and Bar, delicious and easy options before hitting the road.
