RiverWalk
No San Antonio grad getaway would be complete without experiencing the 15 mile River Walk: a verdant and winding cypress-lined network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, coursing thru the pulsating heart of the city, providing easy access via vessel or foot to cultural hotspots, restaurants, shops, key historic sites and exhibits and other “Totally Tejas” attractions! Stroll, cruise – even take a convenient water taxi; explore RiverWalk your way!

Alamo
Your grad group won’t want to miss a stop at this renowned 18th-century mission in the heart of San Antonio – oh, so deserving of its spot on every honorary Texan’s itinerary; Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie and 188 others waged their last valiant stand against the Mexican army here at this “Shrine of Texas Liberty.” The most famous landmark in the Lone Star State, the mission has been carefully restored to its original condition and is open to self-guided tours, with a gift shop tendering fantastic memorabilia like Texas flags and coonskin caps ensuring departing touristas will always “Remember the Alamo!”

Tower of Americas
This 750-foot observation tower/restaurant is the showpiece of urban respite HemisFair Park ; designed by San Antonio architect O'Neil Ford, it was built as the theme structure of the 1968 World's Fair, “ HemisFair '68.” A cool and informative 4-D film "Skies Over Texas" treats visitors to a bit of Lone Star State history, a zippy exterior elevator ride gets you the best views around, up OR down, and the Tower’s revolving Chart House restaurant puts an upscale spin on their classic menu of well-executed favorites!

Rivercenter Mall
You and your grad group will find premier shopping destination Rivercenter Mall - located on the San Antonio River Walk - the ideal place to indulge in a healthy dose of Texas-style retail therapy! Rivercenter houses more than 100 retailers including a variety of full-service restaurants, plenty of popular snackshops and eateries, a Macy's, IMAX, AMC Theaters and an array of delightful specialty boutiques all showcased in a beautiful environment infused with a perfect balance of downtown energy and old world charm!
