Just Imagine

If you’re planning a trip to Boston for your group, don’t forget to spend some time at the Museum of Science. There are plenty of interactive programs and exhibits for children but don’t underestimate this place solely as a kids’ museum. The Museum of Science has exhibits of all kinds for every interest that will spark your imagination and rekindle that childlike fascination in the world around you. Travel back in time or zoom into the future right here in Boston!

Kids will enjoy the Discovery Center where they can put together an animal skeleton like a paleontologist or touch a fossil. Live Animal presentations, daily scheduled drop-in activities, and 4-D multi-sensory films are also wonderful activities for groups with children. Not only a science museum, but they also have art sculptures, a Mayan culture and history exhibit, and a Butterfly Garden, not to mention their Hall of Human Life to show the biology of the human body, a dinosaur exhibit including a full triceratops skeleton and a life-size replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and an IMAX theater. See Inside NASA at the planetarium or go to any of the daily live topical presentations such as “Science Magic” or one on the science of lightning.

Being a learning institution, the Museum of Science has over 700 permanent exhibits and a history of educational involvement. Student groups from preschool to university are welcome and treated like honorary scientists as they are led through on tours or lectured on science topics. The theater seating 294 is a great place to hold your corporate presentation along with available WiFi and AV equipment. Events such as weddings, anniversaries, social events, or birthdays may be booked at the museum with views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines and Wolfgang Puck Catering. Whatever your group style, the Museum of Science in Boston is a fantastic choice for your group trip or event.
