When you visit the Cylburn Arboretum, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the amazing gardens including Nathan’s Garden, the Larrabee Garden, the Rain Garden, and the Small City Backyard Gardens among others. The Cylburn Arboretum also contains the Nature Museum, located at the Carriage House, featuring one of the most comprehensive collections of Maryland native birds. Guests will also see mammals, fossils, and skulls in the collection and travel back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Cylburn Arboretum offers educational programs for visitors of all ages. Classes focus on fascinating topics including gardening, green living, history, and art. You can create photographs, floral designs, holiday decorations, and paintings. The location also offers guided walks around the facility, concerts, exercise classes, and other special events throughout the year. One of the series of concerts is known as Cylburn’s Sounds Jazz Series which takes place during the summer.
