The Back Bay is probably best known for being expensive. You’ll find high-end boutiques here, luxury hotels, and beautiful residential areas. MIT is located here and the Natural History Museum. Copley Square is part of the Back Bay, including the breathtaking Museum of Fine Arts, Trinity Church, and the Boston Public Library. All three John Hancock buildings are located here as well. In many ways, Boston’s Back Bay is Boston, and it must be included in Boston student tours.
