WHERE: Bound by Tremont, Beacon, Charles, Park, and Boylston Streets, Boston, MA
WHEN: All day, every day
WHAT: Multipurpose park and gardens
Thankfully, cattle no longer graze on this historic park, one of the oldest in the United States. Instead, the park offers acres of grassy, open spaces, walking paths, and scattered memorials. You can take in quite a bit of both Boston and Revolutionary history in the park. Boston Common is the starting point for the Freedom Trail, one of the most popular attractions for Boston educational tours. But Boston Common is a beautiful attraction in its own right, a great place to spend a few hours with your group – or perhaps a meal – as you take in this uniquely historical and modern city.
