WHAT: A showcase of contemporary art in various mediums
The Institute of Contemporary Art offers an incredible collection of contemporary art. It has a permanent collection as well as temporary exhibitions. It offers though-provoking performances with storytellers, choreographers, composers, and musicians. The Institute presents films from filmmakers both regional and international. And it offers many other means for contemplating contemporary culture and the artistic efforts that have risen from it. Artists include Laylah Ali, Tara Donovan, Taylor Davis, Josiah McElheny, Lucy McKenzie, Nan Goldin, Mona Hatoum, Thomas Hirschhorn, and many, many more. The Institute also offers Water Café with restaurant-quality cuisine from famed chef Wolfgang Puck.
