Pilgrim Hall Museum

WHERE: 75 Court St., Route 3A, Plymouth, MA
WHEN: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, closed in January
WHAT: Artifacts from first

New World settlers We all know at least the story of the pilgrim’s first Thanksgiving, but in many ways these first immigrant settlers to the New World hold a lot of mystery. The Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth wants to change that. You will be amazed by the collection from colonial America on display in this museum. The pilgrim’s voyage here, their landing, and the first terrible winter will all come fully alive as you experience their world through these astonishing artifacts. You’ll see the cradle for the fist baby born in the New World, plus other furniture from the settlement, the only portrait of a pilgrim that was painted live, and artwork depicting the way of life in this historic era. The Pilgrim Hall Museum is a fascinating celebration of our country’s brave beginning and the heroic people who lived it.
