The Salem witch trials were a tragic time in America’s history. Many historic sites are dedicated to a better understanding of these events and the lives lost during them. The Salem Wax Museum is especially popular around Halloween since its eerily life-like figures tell such a haunting story. You’ll see realistic replicas of some of the prominent players in the famous witch trials – one of the women on trial who eventually led the hysteria of 1692, the famous Judge Hathorne who sat in judgment for the trials, and many more.
