At First Landing State Park, the history of early America will further come alive to you. The park is named after the place where the first members of the Virginia Company landed when they came to the New World. From there, they settled in a place that should sound familiar to you, Jamestown. First Landing is a gorgeous state park on Chesapeake Bay. It has all of the nature and water activities you love with camping, picnicking, fishing, and boating. There are 19 miles of trails through its wooded area and nature and history programs as well. First Landing State Park is a relaxing glimpse of history and a beautiful view of our natural world today
