The Franklin Park Zoo has consistently improved its facilities and this year (2009) has even made an impression on Hollywood. Though construction of a film set has interrupted the addition of a new aviary (until 2010), there are still plenty of amazing habitats to experience in Franklin Park. Besides those named in the video above, you’ll also visit Outback Trail with kangaroos, emus, sheep, and the very unique kookaburras. Bird’s World is comprised of the zoo’s most historic buildings and dozens of bird species from around the globe. And Butterfly Landing is a burst of flying color with nearly one thousand butterflies in flight.
