Galveston is a city on Galveston Island located on the Gulf Coast of Texas. In the 1900’s a hurricane destroyed the city, and because of that devastation a 17-foot high seawall was built to protect the city from the gulf waters. The seawall is a sight to see when visiting the city. Besides the many beautiful beaches and the warm gulf water, there is plenty to do in Galveston. There are rainforest exhibits and aquariums, world famous water parks, museums, and historic homes – to only mention a few of the wonderful activities that await a group who venture to the southern United States. Groups can enjoy harbor tours, jet skiing, parasailing, party and fishing boats. There is no end to the water sports, fun in the sun and fabulous eateries where fresh seafood abounds.
