Josephine Ford Plaza
This is the entryway to the infamous Greenfield Village. Josephine Ford Plaza is named after the only granddaughter to Henry Ford. Josephine Ford donated $10 million to the Greenfield Village. This village is 80 acres and will lead you through America’s past, spanning 300 years. Some of the highlights are the cycle shop where Orville and Wilbur Wright built the first plane and when you see the laboratory where Thomas Edison lit up the world with the invention of the light bulb and phonograph. Visitors can also get a firsthand look at the educational side of the village. Take a walk or a train ride to three living history farms, watch an 1867 baseball game, or ride in a Model T.
