WHAT: Authentic experience in 17th century America
Plimoth Plantation is a celebration of two cultures – the colonial English community in the 1600s and the Wampanoag People who were native to the continent. You’ll experience firsthand both a traditional Wampanoag village and an English one from 1627. In the Wampanoag village you’ll meet actual Wampanoag people describing in their own words what it was like for this native American people when the English immigrants arrived. In both villages you’ll experience 17th century cooking, crop growth, and house construction.
