Polk’s Nature Discovery Center
This attraction is in central Florida and is part of our Polk County student ecotours.
Located inside the Circle B Bar Reserve, the Polk Nature Discovery Center is a wonderful start to a tour of the reserve. This center was opened to serve as an education in nature. With exhibits that make nature come alive for all ages of student groups, the Center helps your group understand the need to protect the great animals of Florida and their habitat. Hands-on exhibits get your group excited about nature. Along the exhibit hall, your group can view live aquatic plants and animals and participate in indoor and outdoor classrooms. The Center also holds monthly workshops on bird watching, photography, and native plants and animals.
