The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is one of only 16 sports halls of fame at the state level. It is dedicated to Virginia’s amazing athletes, many of whom rank in the National Hall of Fame as well. You’ll see basketball stars, soccer, and football. More than 20 sports are covered here, including Virginia Olympians from the past and exhibits devoted to current Virginia sporting events. In the games and activities area you can try your own skills at several of these famous sports – basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and even auto racing. Devoted to the sports of Virginia and the players who made them amazing, this hall of fame and museum is an exciting celebration of Virginia athletic culture.
