The Northside Café has served the community of Winterset, Iowa, since 1876. Winterset travelers, weary from a day of touring the covered bridges of Madison County, can stop in for a meal and enjoy the nostalgia of the historic eatery. In the film version of Bridges of Madison County, Robert Kincaid (Clint Eastwood) stopped in the Northside for coffee and sat on one of the bar stools at the counter. If your group members want to enjoy the café from the same view as Mr. Eastwood, chose the fourth stool from the front of the restaurant.
