If you are going to be taking a trip to Kansas City Missouri, then you will want to allow some time for Kansas City Royals baseball. The Royals are celebrating their 37th season in 2009. A Kansas City Royals game is an exciting addition to any student tour, and any group that can should go to a Friday night game. All of the Friday night home games are Fireworks Friday, and it is amazing. Kaufman Stadium is an exciting stadium on any night, though, and you’re going to love the waterfalls in the outfield. Kaufman Stadium is nicknamed “The K”. It is named after Ewing M. Kauffman. He purchased the club in 1968, and Kaufman was opened in 1973.
