The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising offers education tours for prospective students as well as those who just want to take a closer look at the Fashion world. FIDM’s vision is to develop graduates who are prepared for the world of visual arts, entertainment, interior design, and of course fashion. FIDM’s Los Angeles campus is nestled between Hollywood and the Fashion District. Here are just a few highlights about FIDM: 18 majors, 2 and 4 year degrees offered, 500 staff members and 7,500 students, industry-focused curriculum, and much more. Just a few famous graduates FIDM has produced include Kim Helgeson (store designer for Universal Studios in California) and Project Runway’s Nick Verreos from Bravo.
