Downtown's Santee Alley
What student travel program would be complete without a visit to 300 shopping stores. This four-block area houses gleaming walls of gold jewelry, knock-off jeans, shoes, and designer goods sometimes up to 70% cheaper then you would pay in name brand stores. Stores such as Morries, Crystal Pointus, and Kiss Fashion stay open for 365 days a year. The best time to go is the 1st Friday of every month when California Mart has sales. You will want to arrive early because of the large crowds all salivating over the same bargain. Santee Alley is truly a die hard shopper’s paradise.
