Epcot was designed by Walt Disney himself as an Experimental Community to test out inventions in an actual city environment. Today it is a showcase for technological innovation and cultural diversity. The park is recognizable by Spaceship Earth, the giant silver sphere in which guests experience the journey of human communication from prehistoric times to the future. Also in this Future Worlds section of the park, guests can experience Soarin’, a simulated flight over the Redwoods and other beautiful scenery in California. Test Track is the longest and fastest ride in the park and embraces the world of automobiles and their improvement. Epcot is also famous for its World Showcase, with design, eating and shopping from nations around the world, including Mexico, France, Italy, China, and the United Kingdom. Epcot embraces the spirit of Walt Disney’s efforts to bring imagination and technology together to inspire the world. Epcot is the perfect attraction for Orlando educational tours.
