Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell, a symbol of freedom for the U.S., is the
perfect destination for any Philadelphia Tour. There is alot
of information at the bell available at this destination.
Betsy Ross House
Betsy Ross is credited with creating the original stars and
stripes. Her Georgian-style home is a tribute to her and her
accomplishments. Your student group will get to learn about
Betsy Ross and enjoy history told from historic actors. This
quick tour is a must.
Constitution Center
The Constitution Center can quite possible be called
America's most interactive history museum. Unlike other
museums, this museum is devoted solely to the U.S.
Constitution and the story about how the Constitution came to
be. Student groups will enjoy the educational experience and
the hands on attitude of the museum.
Vietnam War Memorial
Visit Philadelphia's memorial from our nation's longest war,
the Vietnam War. This memorial was built so that others
could learn and honor those who lost their lives in Vietnam.
This is definetely and informative and moving memorial.
Independence Hall
This is the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence. When you enter the building you can see where this famous declaration was made, as well as the same place in which the articles of confederation were written. You literally get to step into a piece of American history when you visit Independence Hall.
Franklin Museum
This 175 year old institure is dedicated to understanding
science and technology, two fundamentals that Benjamin
Franklin, the museum's namesake, was an advocate for. There
are lots of interactive exhibits, you can take a crawl
through the valves and chambers of a model heart or see how
fast you can pitch a baseball in the sports exhibit.
Academy of Natural Sciences
The Academy of Natual Sciences is home to many interesting and exciting exhibits. These exhibits are geared to all ages, so everyone has a good time.
Day 3
Independence Seaport Museum
The Independence Seaport Museum is an interactive learning
museum that student groups love. Learn about Philadelphia's
history as a port city and learn about all types of vessels
that were used on the Delaware River.
Philadelphia Zoo

This zoo opened in 1874, which makes this America's oldest
zoo. Housing over 1600 animals from around the world this is
a great place to stop for any tour group. Student groups
always give raving reviews of this amazing zoo.
Valley Forge
Go on a quick trip to Valley Forge. You can see the excellent Valley Forge national historic park or head over to the World of Scouting Museum. If those don't sound appealing there is always the Freedoms Fountain or the National Memorial Arch.
