Bear Country USA

Bear Country USA is home to 20 species of North American mammals, which live in large natural exhibits. While captive born, every effort is made to imitate a wild environment for the animal residents. While at the park, group tours will enjoy a leisurely 3-mile drive through this spectacular and unique wildlife habitat nestled on 200 acres, where larger animal species roam freely. Smaller animals, as well as those younger than one year, are exhibited in the Babyland area. Visitors can get off of the coach and stroll through the walk-through Babyland, where park staff are available to offer their animal knowledge to visitors and educational tours.

Bear Country USA works with public, private and home school groups on educational travel programs. The park also hosts several summer camps, great for student groups, including the Bruin and Cub Camp (for tots 0-4yrs and an adult) and the Critter Camp for Kids (ages 5-12). The focus of the summer camp programs is to develop a connection with nature in students that will continue in backyards, parks and throughout the country that will last a life time. A significant amount of the camp is devoted to recognizing animal signs and habitat as well as just having fun in the outdoors.
