Reptile Gardens

Reptile Gardens houses more species of reptiles and amphibians than any other zoo or park in the world. One of their missions is to educate the public on important environmental issues, while working closely with many major zoos worldwide to promote species survival. Since its beginning, Reptile Gardens has been a source of entertainment for student tours as well as an unforgettable learning experience for millions of visitors by providing them the rare opportunity to observe these exotic animals up close. Shows include Wings of Adventure Bird Show, Crocodilian Show, and a Snake Show, providing great student travel experiences. As visitors enter the grounds, they are greeted with a multitude of colorful flowers, lush vegetation, and well manicured lawns.

The three-leveled Sky Dome at Reptile Gardens is a favorite among guests. Here students can experience, hidden among the plants and sculptures, free roaming lizards and frogs. Colorful finches fly freely throughout the dome. Large snakes, parrots and macaws perch throughout the safari room. Reptile Gardens has the ONLY rough-scaled pythons in the world outside of Australia. In addition to reptiles and birds, the Sky Dome is home to hundreds of beautiful orchids, bromeliads, and caladiums. The Sky Dome also houses a replica of an Archelon Turtle fossil, the largest turtle fossil ever found.
