Governor's Mansion
The Governor's Mansion was built in the late 19th century and has been the official residence of the state governer through the 1960s. This mansion is filled with many different furnishings from the governor's different families throughout the years. You also get to learn about the famous people who have lived there and what their lives where like.

Old Town Sacramento

This is one of California's biggest banks. The bank, started in the Wild West has lots of memorabalia from the "old" days. There are literally hundreds of genuine relics to marvel and amaze you.
California State Railroad Museum

This is America's largest railroad museum and it's a great destination for educational tours. Learn about the railroad's history and marvel at the train memorabalia.
Discovery Museum
The Discovery Museum is a great place for kids and adults alike. There are a wide range of exhibits and a planetarium.
Panning for Gold
Pan for Gold like miner's did in the "ole days." This is a fun, hands on treat for everyone. You even get to keep the gold pieces that you find!
Jelly Belly Factory
Groups always enjoy this tour. This free tour is free and you get to see the process that goes into making those delicious delights - Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. The tour also has an exhibit of pictures made entirely out of jellybeans. This is a tour not to be missed.
Yosemite National Park

Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Sacramento is the Yosemite National Park. This is a great park to tour through. There are amazing scenes, if you're a shutterbug this is a must!
Sacramento Zoo
THis zoo hourses over 400 animals. They even have rare species, such as the snow leopard and red panda. Additionally at the zoo there is a butterfly and hummingbird garden. The zoo has lectures and tours available.
Crocker Art Museum
This museum, founded in the 1870's, in one of the first art museums in the US. Many of the art pieces are from the Gold Rush, Victorian, and European variety.
