Hemisfair Park
Hemisfair Park was built in 1968 and created to host the World’s Fair, which catapulted not only the local economy but also showed the world the rich culture that San Antonio has to offer. Now these fairgrounds host many other attractions and events, such as the Institute of Texan Culture, Instituto Cultural Mexicano, and the amazing 750-foot Tower of the Americas, which is not only beautiful from the ground but you can have the chance to see the whole city of San Antonio from inside the top of the 750-foot tower. This park, with its lushly landscaped areas and waterfall, is a great way for a student group to spend an afternoon in San Antonio.
