Natural Bridge Caverns

Located just a few miles outside of San Antonio on the way to the Schlitterbahn Water Park and Resort, you will come across one of the world’s most amazing natural wonders, the Natural Bridge Caverns. These caverns are made of incredible formations that are made when the water droplets that carry calcium drops off the tops of the underground caverns. Each time the droplets fall, they leave a tiny amount of calcium behind. When they fall to the ground they leave a calcium deposit there as well. Over time these calcium deposits become amazing and beautiful formations commonly found in caves and caverns. The Natural Bridge Caverns display this act of nature in a fantastic way, with paved walkways, lights and tour guides.
