River Walk

The River Walk is one of the most beautiful and peaceful ways to see the city of San Antonio. Located just 20 feet below street level in the heart of San Antonio, Paseo Del Rio is a two-mile walk along the river with a fantastic mixture of modern and historic architecture. This beautiful stone walkway was created by the Spanish Colonial Mission back in the 18th century and has been updated and in some parts preserved ever since. You can also experience this unique place by water taxi with stops along the way for restaurants and shops as well as one just steps from the Alamo. This walk shows you all kinds of authentic San Antonio culture in one brilliant attraction.
