San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoo, with its 56 acres of beautiful landscape and animals, is one of the top zoos in the United States. This zoo has over 3,500 animals. The count of different species is up to about 600, which added together makes this one of the best-populated zoos in America. The San Antonio zoo opened doors to the public back in 1929 showing off their great collection of caged animals. Since then the zoo has expanded to marine life and one of the world’s largest and most impressive bird exhibits with every color in the rainbow represented.
