Attraction: Nauticus, The National Maritime Center
Nauticus is a spectacular maritime-themed science center featuring hands-on exhibits, interactive theaters, aquaria, digital high-definition films, and an extensive variety of educational programs. A gift shop and restaurant complement the experience.
Activity: American Rover
This 135-foot long vessel is Virginia's only tall ship cruise and the largest three-mast passenger schooner in the country. Its design was inspired by 19th century cargo schooners. The Rover offers two and three hour narrated tours along the Elizabeth River and Hampton Roads harbor. During fall months, a cruise an excellent way to view the area's fall foliage.

Museum: Hampton Roads Naval Museum
The Hampton Roads Naval Museum introduces you to over two centuries of naval activity in and around the great harbor of Hampton Roads, VA. Your tour begins with the Battle off the Capes in 1781, a naval engagement which made possible America's victory at Yorktown. An impressive collection of ship models and retrieved underwater artifacts advance the story through the Civil War and the battle of the ironclads Monitor and Virginia. Exhibits continue with the 20th century, including the Battle of the Atlantic in WW II, and conclude with today's Navy.

The Virginia Air & Space Center features dozens of hands-on air and space exhibits, a premiere interactive aviation gallery that spans 100 years of flight, more than 30 historic aircraft, unique space flight artifacts and more!
