Agreement Conditions
What happens after you receive a quote from us and are ready to
say "YES!" to Adventure Student Travel? That's easy! If you have not
already received a Group Agreement, be sure to request one. After
checking to confirm all of the services your group will be
receiving, follow these steps to insure that your group's trip is
everything you want it to be and more:
- Authorize the Agreement by signing it and returning it to
Adventure Student Travel as soon as you possibly can.
- Send in your group deposit by the due date, either by school
check or money order, and your Student Registration Forms for
each person who will be participating in the trip.
- After receiving all of the above mentioned items, Adventure
Student Travel will confirm all reservations, costs, and other
important information for your group and will notify your group
that all of the reservations have been finalized for your group.
- If there is any increase in cost due to a lapse in time (air
quote expiring before we receive the deposit, etc.) Adventure
Student Travel will notify your group of any price changes.
- Now your group can follow the calendar of dates that we will
provide for you after the reservations have been made. All of
your payment dates and deadlines will be listed for you. In
addition, your group will be receiving a monthly statement to
keep you posted on all of the financial activity for your group.
- If your group has decided to participate in an educational
tour "Platinum Plan" or has chosen to participate in individual
payments (for an additional fee), each individual will receive a
monthly statement for their account status.
- Once all payments have been received and your group has a
ZERO BALANCE, your travel documents, final itinerary, and all
other necessary materials will be sent to the group leader at
the agreed address.
AST acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers
that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing,
activities, or other services connected with this tour. Such
services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers.
AST and their employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept
no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident,
delay, of any other incident which may be caused by the negligence,
defect, default of any company of person in performing these
services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages
or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes,
hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or
other such causes. All services and accommodations are subject to
the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided.
AST, is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any
individual participating in the tours / trips arranged by AST.
Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel
insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses
associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.
Be sure to stay on schedule for your payments! If for some reason
you are going to be late or need to request a change in the schedule
or in the trip, be sure to call as soon as you can to avoid any
miscommunication or penalties that may be assessed to your group.
Also, if for some reason someone needs to cancel, be sure to
reference your Group Agreement and notify us as soon as you can.
