Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill anchors the National Mall on the east side and is an absolute must for group tours to the capital. From the imposing, neoclassical design to the beautifully manicured lawn and gardens, the United States Capitol impresses millions of visitors every year. It has several chambers filled with history, artifacts, sculpture, and, of course, the chambers for the current Senate and House of Representatives.
Old Supreme Court Chamber
A refurbished version of the room that held the Supreme Court until its permanent home was established east of the Capitol building in 1935.
National Statuary Hall
The previous chamber for the House of Representatives, now filled with statues from most of the fifty states. Two are allowed from each state, and so many have been offered that they spill out into other areas of the Capitol as well.
The Old Senate Chamber
Historically true to its original magnificence.
 Rotunda
This beautiful area under the famous dome is decorated with a brilliant fresco, historical paintings, and amazing detail.
You reach the chambers by beautiful halls and stairways. There are thousands of different tiles in the Capitol’s luxurious interior. Third floor viewing galleries are available for both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
