Hurricane Alley Waterpark

Hurricane Alley Waterpark

Hurricane Alley Waterpark is the family-friendly water-bound attraction complete with a wave pool, lazy river, slides, and thrill rides located in the Bayfront and Downtown District of Corpus Christi. This area is actually one of the most popular in the city and is known by many different names, such as the Marina Arts District and SEA District, which stands for Sports, Entertainment, and Art District.

This seasonal waterpark is open a few days in March and September, but mainly from May 21st to August 21st each year. You and your group will love this opportunity to cool off from that Corpus Christi heat while enjoying over nine amazing in-park attractions and weekly events such as Dive-in Movie Tuesday and Friday Flicks. Take advantage of the location, in close proximity to nearby Whataburger Stadium and the Texas State Aquarium, not to mention all the eating and shopping possible near the marina.

At Hurricane Alley Waterpark you will have to choose between such fun attractions as the Shredder, the only stand-up surf simulator in Corpus Christi, the Cat 5 six-story, 65-foot slide, or the Storm Surge, the 12,000 square foot wave pool that is also the only one in the city. You can also enjoy the three-story Momentum, four-lane racer Storm Chaser, Gulf Stream Lazy River, USS Dusty miniature kids replica carrier in honor of the U.S. military, or even the children’s Captain Kid’s Cove, complete with cannons and fun adventures left and right. The ballpark shares with this waterpark The Diamond also, a splash and spray little league fountain area, a great combination of cooling off and getting active! Adults and children alike will love the Riptide Hideaway swim-up bar, the best place in the park to get a cool drink! If interested your group may rent a private cabana to truly get a VIP experience, or just explore and play all day!
