Marine Science Center

The Marine Science Center is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. The location features several different activities such as the fascinating exhibits, Boardwalk, Nature trails, an Observation Tower, an Artificial reef aquarium, Interactive displays, Unique gift shop Group tours, and school field trips.

The location offers a variety of programs to students of all ages throughout the year. Featured programs include the following: Pelagic Birding Trips, the Stingray Touch Pool, and School field trips. The Stingray touch pool is something your students will enjoy. They will have the opportunity to touch several animals. Animals include the following: cow nose rays, Atlantic stingrays, an Atlantic bumper, a permit, an Atlantic spadefish, horseshoe crabs, anemones and other organisms that live in the local waters of Florida. The Marine Science Center contains a gallery for visitors to enjoy. The gallery features the following: the mangrove estuary, a living reef aquarium, a bird observation tower, a turtle rehabilitation area, and a dune habitat.

The bird observation tower is a fascinating exhibit for your students to observe. Featured birds include bald eagles, osprey, Peregrine falcons, pelicans, terns, cormorants, herons, and egrets. Come with your student group and explore this fascinating destination!
