Museum of Bus Transportation

Museum of Bus Transportation

Vintage green bus, isolated on white. With detailed clipping path.

Did you know that buses carry more people daily than any other public modes of transportation put together? Well, you are certainly about to learn all about it!

Head to the lower level of the AACA Museum to experience a more focused vintage vehicle learning experience, one that covers the motor bus industry specifically. At the Museum of Bus Transportation your class can learn all about the importance of the American public transportation system, as well as receive an in-depth history over it and it impacts on society in general in today’s, and yesterday's, working world.

Explore the story of ‘invention and entrepreneurialism’ in U.S transportation within the museum. Several different buses from 1912 to the 1990’s are featured inside, as well as an in-depth educational timeline that covers 1895 to 1975. The eleven different restored historic buses on display inside are all accompanied by a bevy of authentic bus memorabilia, such as signs, photos, models, and toys. Don’t forget to hit the gift shop and AACA Museum upstairs before you go!
