The first and only of it's kind in all of Ontario, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is one of the most educational and entertaining spots your group can visit in Toronto! This aquarium is located just southeast of the CN Tower, downtown on Bremner Blvd. Boasting 3 acres of floor space, over 16,000 animals, and countless programs and clubs, this is truly a world-class aquarium institution!

Ripley's Aquarium opened in 2013 with the aim to be a 'world-class aquarium life facility', something it has done very well in the past 4 years. The exhibits display cutting-edge technology and interactive experiences, the entire facility boasting 9 differently themed galleries full of them. Visit the Canadian Waters gallery and see such local sea creatures as the Giant Pacific Octopus, or head over to the Dangerous Lagoon to walk along an underwater gallery filled with sharks and Green Sawfish (you'll even see some Green Turtles swimming around in there!). The other galleries include Rainbow Reef, Discovery Centre, Ray Bay, Swarm, Planet Jellies, Life Support System, and Shoreline Gallery.

One of our favorite aspects about this aquarium is a number of educational experiences available for students of all ages. Your group can take part in a number of activities such as the Stingray Experience, Behind the Scenes Tour, Sleepovers, Dive Shows, and Aquarist Talks, and that's just hitting the surface of all the available activities!

Head to Ripley's Cafe for some burgers, sriracha codfish, or classic Canadian poutine with gravy before you go!
