Founded in 1894, the U.S. Olympic Training Complex is the top location athletes go to be trained, entered, and funded into the U.S. Olympic teams. The complex strives to fulfill its motto to support U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes in achieving sustained competitive excellence and serve as a steward of the Olympic Movement in the United States. This organization provides National Governing Bodies, financial support, and even personal insurance for its athletes. The athletes served here range from members of Olympic teams, paralympic teams, youth Olympic teams, Pan American Games, and para pan American games. A tour of this 8 million dollar, the 35-acre flagship training center will allow your group to see the swimming and shooting headquarters of the nation, as well as over 15 member organizations and two international sports federations. The beginning of your tour involves a short intro video, followed by an hour walking journey through the sports venues and support facilities for fencing, gymnastics, judo, pentathlon, shooting, swimming, weightlifting, wrestling, and taekwondo. This state of the art medical and sports center also features a dining hall and several residence halls.
