It’s Shark Week! While you can find plenty of hair-raising shark footage all week long on the Discovery Channel, the REMUS SharkCam, set up by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, gives you an up-close-and-personal look at Great Whites in their natural habitat — and attacking the camera.
The SharkCam is composed of six cameras mounted on an “underwater vehicle” that looks more like a steel torpedo. Watch the footage here!
