If it’s been a few years since your last Disney adventure, you’re in for a magical surprise. Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland continue to grow. New attractions, fresh entertainment, and exciting expansions are making the parks more immersive than ever.
Whether you’re planning a student trip, senior class adventure, or family vacation, 2026 is an exciting time to visit. Plus, even more magic is already on the way.
Walt Disney World: More Magic Than Ever
First, let’s head to Walt Disney World. Disney has introduced several exciting updates across the resort, giving both first-time and returning guests something new to discover.
What’s New in 2026?
One of the biggest additions is Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Guests can now experience new missions inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu. As a result, every flight feels even more interactive and exciting.
Next, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has received a major refresh. New ride vehicles, handheld blasters, upgraded targets, and improved scoring make the attraction more fun for every Space Ranger.
In addition, families can now meet Bluey and Bingo at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Their arrival has quickly become a favorite for younger guests and Disney fans alike.
Together, these updates give guests even more reasons to return while keeping the classic Disney magic alive.
Even More Is on the Way
Of course, Disney isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
In fact, several exciting projects are already in development.
At Magic Kingdom, a brand-new Cars-themed land called Piston Peak National Park is on the way. Meanwhile, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will welcome an all-new Monsters, Inc. land, bringing guests into the world of Monstropolis.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Tropical Americas will replace DinoLand U.S.A. This new area will feature immersive environments inspired by Central and South America.
Finally, Disney’s BoardWalk will welcome new dining and entertainment options, giving guests even more ways to enjoy their evenings outside the parks.
Disneyland Resort Keeps Growing
Meanwhile, Disneyland Resort is adding plenty of excitement of its own.
New Experiences in 2026
Guests can now enjoy Bluey’s Best Day Ever!, an interactive stage show at Fantasyland Theatre. It’s already becoming a must-see for families.
At the same time, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run has also received its new Star Wars missions, giving Disneyland visitors the same exciting adventure found in Florida.
Throughout the resort, additional entertainment and guest enhancements continue to make every visit feel fresh.
Looking Ahead at Disneyland
The future looks just as exciting.
Disney has announced a brand-new Coco-themed attraction for Disney California Adventure. In addition, Avengers Campus will continue to expand with new experiences for Marvel fans.
Looking even further ahead, an Avatar-themed destination is also in development. Meanwhile, the DisneylandForward expansion will create more space for future attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and immersive lands.
Without a doubt, Disneyland’s future has never looked brighter.
