Your young travel pards will be “champin’ at the bit” to find their seats at this one-of-a-kind down-home dinner show extravaganza, where they’ll enjoy a Dolly-style presentation of precision horsemanship, flamboyant pageantry, traditional romance, red, white and blue patriotism and a “friendly” rivalry between North and South – all served up with a truly finger-lickin’ four-course family style feast. Be ready for a delightful evening of non-stop laughs, big-screen Dolly and fast and furious entertainment including racing pigs, a 32 horse show, the Lumberjack Relay and the Roman Ride of Fire. Stuff yourselves silly ring-side on a mouth-watering meal of roast game hen, pork loin, corn on the cob, baked potato and all the yummy fixin’s, and wash it all down with bottomless refreshment. Utensils? Nope. Doggie bags? Yep.
College of the Ozarks Ralph Foster Museum
Ralph Foster – broadcasting pioneer and philanthropist - was an avid outdoorsman, nature lover and dedicated conservationist, with a penchant for collecting Native American and Western artifacts, weapons and firearms. His interest in The School of the Ozarks inspired him to turn his vast assemblage over to the School's Museum, which sprang from humble beginnings in the 1920s to become one of the Midwest’s premier institutions of historical preservation focused on the exhibition and interpretation of all things relating to the Ozarks region and culture. Fans of the Beverly Hillbillies television show will delight in seeing the original Clampett Family vehicle displayed amongst the museum’s intriguing diversity of holdings.
At Branson Landing on beautiful Lake Taneycomo, a wonderful waterfront world of shopping, dining and sightseeing awaits; here, you’ll discover Belk and Bass Pro Shops along with more than 100 specialty stores and restaurants. You’ll be swept up in the special Ozark Mountain magic of its vibrant town square and scenic 1.5 mile boardwalk, enjoy spectacular live entertainment and special events and a dazzling water cannon show featuring “fiery” 120 foot geysers pulsing and dancing to music that changes with the seasons. Sit down to a fantastic meal at the White River Fish House – Bass Pro’s floating restaurant serving up some of the finest and freshest steaks, seafood, pasta and desserts in town - grab a pizza at Old Chicago, or swing by Famous Dave’s for some deliciously authentic St. Louis-style BBQ. Whatever your pleasure, you’re sure to enjoy a few hours exploring Branson Landing!
