The slopes at Winter Park Resort open around November 15th each year, the park offering world-class glade skiing all winter long.For over 75 years this resort has been operating here, making it Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort by far.

There are 7 total territories on site, the entirety of the area takes up 3,081 acres. Head to Parsenn Bowl for bowl skiing, Terrain Park for epic jumps, Vasquez Ridge for a less crowded powder source, or Mary Jane for all the bumps you can handle.

While it is true that this spot (just 1 hour northwest of Denver, by the way) gets an average of 320 inches of snow a year, it is also true that it sees 300 days of sun, the park offering the Trestle Bike Park and Summer Adventure activities.
