AACA Museum, Inc.
A Smithsonian Institute affiliate and world-class museum, the AACA Museum is one of the most unique educational experiences your group can have in Hershey. This automotive museum holds several different exhibits regarding vintage vehicles from the 1890s to the 1980s. you will be able to choose from various tours, lectures, carnivals, and car shows, this being a spot to 'cruise through time', as they say.
Inside, your group will find a bevy of classic cars, with several examples of different cars, buses, motorcycles, and other modes of transportation. There will be both self-guided and guided group tours available on site, each focusing on ‘preservation and presentation’, as well as general history.
One of our favorite aspects here is the educational tours offered for pre k to twelfth grade, the tours holding plenty of hands-on activities spanning the 8 decades of vintage vehicles. The entire space is 50 feet from floor to ceiling, so be sure to save plenty of time for this spacious stop. Also be sure to stop by some of their most popular exhibits, such as Hershey in the 1920s, Cammack Gallery, and the downstairs Museum of Bus Transportation.
