Day 2 You'll See:

Virginia Beach, one of the most entertaining and relaxing places for student groups to go and enjoy a big senior trip, will treat your senior group right during this two-day getaway!

Day
1

Breakfast at Citrus -  Start your Virginia Beach adventure the right way: with a nutritious and delicious breakfast! Citrus Breakfast and Lunch is one of the most popular breakfasts and brunch spots in Virginia Beach, the creative and fresh menu full of healthy choices perfect for your group to start the day off with. The entire breakfast menu is made from scratch and focused on local sustainability, using only Coastal Virginia region farmers and producers. There is a reason locals call this the ‘freshest and best breakfast in all of Hampton Roads.’ Try the Shore Drive or Cape Henry, both with eggs, biscuits, and grits or hash browns and the latter choice with bacon, or perhaps go for the pièce de résistance, the Citrus Pancakes.

Virginia Aquarium - The Virginia Aquarium, or more formally the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, is located right off of the Rudee Inlet, in Virginia Beach. This is certainly the perfect spot for excellent marine life diversity. Explore tanks of over 800,000 gallons full of vibrant animal life, the entire complex considered to be one of the best aquariums and animal habitats in the entire country. Enjoy plenty of fun hands-on exhibits, nature paths, and marshland adventures while here, as well as the always fun Adventure Park (next stop listed below), a zip-liner's paradise. Children will love the Smokey the Bear interaction, Mermaid Mondays, and Big Screen Saturdays, and everyone will enjoy the Sea Adventures, National Geographic 3D Theater, Big Science exhibits, and food and shopping opportunities within!

Virginia Adventure Park - One of the most unique and most exciting features of the Virginia Aquarium is Adventure Park, the aerial forest park located in the towering trees of the aquarium. Located between the Marsh Pavilion and Bay & Ocean Pavilion within the forest, this extreme adventure experience is the first of it’s kind in Virginia, offering some of the most fun bridges, aerial trails, and zip lines. One of our favorite things about Adventure Park is that you don’t have to be a pro or experienced in any way, children 5 and up can participate. This, in addition to the fact that this experience is based on ‘self-discovery trails’ for any skill level and adventure desire, makes this one of our top Virginia beach choices for field trips and senior trips alike.

Rudee Dolphin Cruise - With arguably the absolute best location Virginia Beach has to offer, Rudee Tours allow visitors to get up close and personal with dolphins using its wide array of sea-faring vessels that travel in and out of the Rudee Inlet. Located in the only inlet like it on the East Coast, boats such as the most popular Rudee Flipper will take you to the best dolphin sighting areas as close as 3 minutes away from its dock. During a tour, any aquatic aficionado or thrill-seeking vacationer can enjoy 90 minutes of narrated travel in which all of the seas experienced staff will answer any questions you may have about the boat, the area, or most importantly, the dolphins.
