Man in the Sea Museum

This museum, opened in 1982, is owned by the Institute of Diving and presents various information on the progress of diving technology throughout history within its 5,000 square miles of maritime artifacts. The various exhibits are hands-on and allow guests to get acquainted with the roots of scuba diving through several sets of authentic artifacts. Here your group can climb through a submarine, learn about the progression of helmets and other various gear, and even see SEALAB 1, the world’s first undersea habitat, up close and personal.

Beach Time

At Panama City Beach you will find over 27 miles of pristine beachfront perfect for swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, and shell collecting, with dozens of public access beach points strewn about. You will find two state parks within this beach area, as well as several celebrated waterfront eateries serving the freshest local seafood. Panama City Beach is known for its powdery white sand beaches and emerald waters bordering the Gulf of Mexico, as well as for being the "wreck capital of the South". Your group can find numerous historic shipwrecks to explore if you’re feeling adventurous, or perhaps you can just stay on the sand and enjoy the various legendary beachside attractions found in almost every step.

WonderWorks

This 35,000 square foot complex is a true amusement park for the mind, offering over 100 hands-on scientific exhibits, laser tag, a ropes course, and even a 6-D motion ride. Talk about mixing fun and learning, these guys practically have it down to a science (pun intended)! The exhibits throughout this upside-down building are meant to challenge the mind and spark imagination. Speaking of imagination, be sure to save time to learn about the story of how this building came about, a once top-secret lab amid the Bermuda Triangle that got lifted and transplanted upside down to its current location after an experiment gone awry.

Gulf World Marine Park

Located on Front Beach Road along the bay, Gulf Marine World Park holds all the best in tropical gardens, shark feedings, and dolphin encounters - oh my! The establishment is run by local company Dolphin Discovery and offers many opportunities to swim, play, and learn about various dolphins, including the beloved bottlenose breed. Take part in any daily offered sea lion, parrot, reptile, sea turtle, or dolphin shows, or perhaps just explore the indoor and outdoor tropical gardens onsite.

Bowling at Rock It Lanes

Inside this amazingly fun complex, you will find a bowling alley, roller skating rink, arcade, billiards area, and even bar and grill! Enjoy this 50,000 square foot newly remodeled/modern bowling alley with 24 new Qubica synthetic glow lanes, new leather seating, new pins, and even new flat screen computerized scoring. If you aren’t in the mood to bowl head over to the 8,000 square foot roller skating rink, the perfect place for group parties and celebrations. This entire complex has been voted by locals as the Best of the Bay as well as the Best Place to Take your Kids, making it easy to see why it is considered to be the premier family entertainment center for all of Bay County.
