Atlanta Botanical Garden

30 acres of pure natural beauty, the Atlanta Botanical Garden will usher your student group into the loving arms of Mother Nature. Stunning themed gardens, art sculptures, and interactive exhibits make the Atlanta Botanical Garden one of the best in the nation.

The themed and attentively curated gardens here rotate seasonally, giving you a varied and comprehensive look into the different types of flora of the world. Go from the traditional Rose Garden to the Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory full of tropical and desert plants of rare, threatened, and endangered species. Explore varieties of orchids, learn about edible plants and sustainable practices at the Edible Garden, or take young ones by the Children's Garden to experience hands-on learning in a natural environment. You'll not want to miss out on the Storza Woods forest garden full of native hardwoods surrounding the high boardwalk through the trees. Finally, let your group be enchanted by the permanent artwork spread throughout the garden, made of stone, glass, and metal, making one of the most extensive art collections in any botanical garden.

There are also a variety of educational programs available through the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Both adults and young students have the opportunity to learn from trained individuals who love nature and the plants at the botanical garden. There are even classes in art and drawing.

After you've finished having a blast touring the botanical gardens, head over to the gift shop or have lunch at The Cafe at Linton's.
