Spend the morning immersing yourself in what Panama City Beach is all about, the beach! At Panama City Beach you will find over 27 miles of pristine beachfront perfect for swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, and shell collecting, with dozens of public access beach points strewn about. You will find two state parks within this beach area, as well as several celebrated waterfront eateries serving the freshest local seafood. Panama City Beach is known for its powdery white sand beaches and emerald waters bordering the Gulf of Mexico, as well as for being the "wreck capital of the South". Your group can find numerous historic shipwrecks to explore if you’re feeling adventurous, or perhaps you can just stay on the sand and enjoy the various legendary beachside attractions found in almost every step.
Panama City Beach is also highly well-known for its sunset viewing opportunities, with the coastline angling slightly to the west, making it possible to see the perfect sunset of the Gulf of Mexico each and every day of the year. In fact, this beach has won numerous awards, such as Top Ten Southern Beaches, Top 5 Places for Sunset in America, America's Top Ten Beaches, and America’s Top 20 Most Beautiful Beaches! Fishermen and scuba divers love this place, with multiple benefits gained from the dozens of artificial reefs offshore. The surrounding pier and park provide even more fun seaside opportunities, with a lively eight miles considered to be the City Pier. Bodysurf, parasail, sunbath, or just simply admire the unbelievable beach beauty within every view. This is easily one of the most popular public beaches in Florida, and the park around it holds an amphitheater, pavilions, walking trails, and various lakes. You can also visit Camp Helen State Park, with over 180 acres of additional outdoor entertainment, or the 1995 "Best Beach in America" St. Andrews Beach, with over 1,260 acres, 700 of them being a barrier island ripe to explore!
