Welcome to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, the popular educational and interactive butterfly experience in Niagara Falls (Canada side).

This conservatory was first opened in 1996 and sits on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. When you step inside you will be 'transported to a tropical paradise full of lush vegetation, trickling waterfalls, and thousands of vibrantly colored butterflies'. There are over 2000 butterflies free-flying around the enclosed atrium that represent 45 different species total.

Your group will certainly learn something new during your visit, each self-guided tour beginning with a short informative video. It is highly suggested that you spend some time at the Emergence Window, the spot where butterflies leave their pupae and dry out their wings before taking their first flight! You may also learn more about the rainforest-like settings around you, filled with lush, exotic blossoms everywhere you look.
