Circuit of the Americas

 The Country's Premiere Racing Facility

If your group is in the mood for high-speed thrills and world-class entertainment then you have come to the right place. The Circuit of the Americas, or COTA for short, is known as the premier destination for world-class motorsports and entertainment in the United States, a perfectly entertaining stop for any type of group visiting Austin.

The Circuit of the Americas is a Grade 1 FIA-specification 3.4-mile motor racing track with 20 turns within its circuit. The track goes counterclockwise and holds various challenges like the 133-foot hill at turn 1, the entire circuit set on 1500 acres of rolling hills just outside of Austin. This famous race track has hosted the biggest names in racing, action sports, and music since 2012, designed to challenge the world's most exacting competitors in a thrilling fashion. The track is home to the US Grand Prix, Form 1, and MotoGP Races, as well as numerous big-name concerts within the Austin360 Amphitheater onsite. This is the largest permanent outdoor amphitheater in Central Texas, hosting names such as Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet, KISS, Muse, Maroon 5, and many more since opening.

During your group's visit to COTA, you will be able to see the track up close and personal, with many possible events happening during your visit depending on the time of year. Regardless of any live events happening, you will always be able to take part in the COTA Karting option, a thrilling opportunity for your group to actually get on the track yourselves. There are several different karting options to cater to a wide crowd, including the following:

  • Champ Kart - 55 mph, must be 16 years old with a valid license.
  • Rookie Kart - 40 mph, must be 14 years old with parental consent form.
  • Junior Kart - 30 mph, must be under 14 but at least 48'.

You will also have the chance to zipline above the track for another type of high-speed thrill, the line going along the main straight of the circuit, allowing you to 'see COTA from a whole new angle'.
